Alli Swallow

Alli began her career in title and escrow in Southern Oregon long before she met Ticor Title. Working her way into understanding the ropes of residential escrow and real estate, she discovered that she craved the vibrancy of a growing city and headed North to Portland.

In 2001, Alli joined the Ticor Title Commercial Division, immediately assisting one of the most well-known and respected commercial closers in the area. Here she was able to polish her skills in escrow while educating herself on commercial real estate alongside the industry’s best. After four years of building her knowledge level and learning the intricacies of a commercial transaction, she was promoted to a Commercial Escrow Officer, where she quickly earned recognition as a top producer for the company.

Throughout the last decade, Alli has become proficient in her craft, guiding clients easily through the harrowing world that can sometimes be title and escrow. She has become highly-skilled in various transactions including industrial, multi-family, office sales and financing, multi-state, financing portfolios, timber transactions, including both real property and timber only, 1031 tax deferred exchanges, tenancy in common transactions, SBA financing transactions and property swaps. Specific transactions of note include a Southern California apartment portfolio sale in excess of $150M in liability, a multi-state $100M commercial financing portfolio, a $60M property portfolio sale consisting of three buildings in downtown Portland, a $92M office portfolio sale in downtown Portland, $70M construction loan with mezzanine financing, and a $118M construction financing project which helped to mark the beginning of the end of the Great Recession in Portland. Alli’s expertise extends beyond the Oregon border, having frequently worked in states including California, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho and Colorado.

Alli brings a higher level of professionalism and knowledge to the industry, enabling her to take on the most complex real estate transaction and successfully close it to the satisfaction of all parties involved. She is a loyal and integral part of the commercial team. The value she adds can easily be gained by spending only a few moments in her company. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding and filling in any free time with her spirited toddler Heleyna, husband Damon and pups Lola & Willie.

Candice Weischedel

Candice is a seasoned veteran in the title insurance and escrow industry. After spending over two decades in the field, she has earned a wealth of experience in all types of transactions, including forward/reverse exchanges, industrial and multi-family sales, land development and new construction. These ventures have prepared her to work on some of the largest and most recent developments in Portland, including the refinancing of Montgomery Park, The Galleria – Target, PNCA Building and sale of The Mint Urban.

Candice enjoys the rewards of working with clients from many different backgrounds and is determined to adapt to meet their specific needs. She is motivated, customer focused, calm, and organized. Her analytical personality helps her see the big picture and troubleshoot potential problems before they arise. Her warm personality and even keel is something to be admired.

In her personal life, Candice is a creative. Even after long days at the office, she’s involved in various activities that continue to keep her on her toes and moving forward. There’s rarely a dull moment between art projects for her school district, working with the Girl Scouts and chaperoning her children to various events. In her free-time she enjoys reading, crafting, hiking, spending time with her three daughters and loving husband.

Erich Telford

Commercial Title Officer | NTS / National Commercial Services

I started in the Title Industry 25 + years ago in Salt Lake City, Utah as a delivery driver. I then worked in the Customer Service Department for several years and then transitioned into a Commercial Title Officer role. Building on that experience as a Commercial Title Officer I became the Manager of a Title Production Facility. After several years in that role an opportunity arose to expand my knowledge and work as an underwriter and Agency representative in Utah and Colorado for Fidelity National Title. After working in underwriting for several years I switched gears and I became a Commercial Escrow Officer and ran my own desk. I was able to continue as an underwriter but also expanded my role in 1031 transactions along with being appointed as a state certified continuing education instructor. My most recent role before re-joining the FNF family was as Director of Operations in Utah in starting a new Title and Escrow company from the ground up.

I am passionate about all thing’s commercial real estate, and always looking to find ways to utilize my skills that I have developed over the past two decades in Title, Escrow, 1031 Exchange, Course Instructor and Underwriter.

When not diving into commercial real estate projects I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, camping and exploring new places to bike, ski or just relax with my daughter and girlfriend.

Sean Scanlan

VP | Commercial Division Manager / Business Development

Sean has worked in the title and escrow industry for over two decades, beginning his journey with Ticor Title in 1998. He graduated from Oregon State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Aspiring to management early in his career, Sean sought the challenges of orchestrating a proper team that he could mentor into success. As the Commercial Division Manager and Business Development Lead, he is currently responsible for managing the Commercial Title & Escrow staff. His duties also include presenting the services and resources that Ticor Title offers to commercial real estate brokerages, financial institutions, mortgage lenders, real estate attorneys and commercial property owners.

Sean often enjoys the rewards of building long-term relationships with clients and is blessed with many. He finds importance and value in staying updated on the happenings within Portland’s booming real estate industry, both for business and pleasure. He is involved in few organizations as well, such as the Commercial Association of Brokers and the National Association of Industrial Properties.

Sean resides in NW Portland with his wife, Pamela, and their two children Mitchell and Jacklyn. Outside of work Sean is an avid golfer and enjoys watching his children’s various sporting events.

Dana Freitas

President – County Manager

Dana has worked in the title and escrow industry since 2003 ~ the majority spent with the FNF family of companies. Starting as an Escrow Assistant, she quickly ramped up in title and responsibility to Escrow Officer, Escrow Operations Manager and most recently, VP / County Manager for Ticor Title Spokane. Dana has lived in Portland with her husband and 2 children for most of their lives, so when the opportunity knocked to take on an even bigger challenge back at Ticor Title in Oregon, it was a no-brainer. She’s a naturally strong leader who values hard work, and the perfect fit for our large and powerful PDX team.
